Reinvent The Dress

Have you ever considered that your "something old" or "something borrowed" could literally be the wedding dress? A great cost saving tip is to wear your Mother's, Grandmother's or Mother-In-Law's old wedding dress. It's free! If either of them knows how to sew, then you can create lasting memories as you D-I-Y the alterations for The Big Day. Plus, you'll learn a lifelong skill! That dress would be more unique and have more sentimental value than anything you can purchase in-store. If you hate these ideas, there are other affordable wedding dress options from "fast fashion" sites. Either way, you should aim to look and feel as beautiful as ever!

The Great Outdoors

Getting married on a budget doesn't mean that you have to forego a honeymoon. Start with what you have. Have you truly explored the City/Capital City where you live? Have you explored the next major city in your state? If not, consider doing so. A "Stay-cation" would allow you to "get away" from where you'd typically reside while allowing you the experience of being a tourist.

Tip: You can consider using some of the gifts/funds from your wedding to book your trip or maybe use as a payment/ down payment for a cruise.
